    19th November is set aside as “INSTITUTE DAY” REMEMBERING OUR FOUNDRESS MOTHER VERONICA OF THE PASSION.

    Independence, Republic, Teachers day are all annual events.

 

PTA  : The Parent-Teacher association has truly given life to the school. PTA in Kanpur has  taken active part in the life of the school and its activities; Their contributions are :

  • The upgrading of school to plus two – financial contribution.
  • Given valuable suggestions, provided resources.
  • Conducted free camps, such as health, blood donation etc.
  • The total electricity expenses is met by the P.T.A. (Generator).
  • PTA contributes Rs. 200 to the fund, which is operated by the school Principal for the development work of the school.
  • PTA supports the social work projects under taken by the school.
  • Regular meetings are held to assess the growth and development of their wards.

  • In 1978 Sister M. Carisia A.C. was selected for a President’s Award for Excellence in Education and National Integration. His Excellency Sri Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy the then President of India conferred on her the National Award.
  • In 1993 Mrs. Usha Lalwani and Sister M. Noreen A.C. were honoured best teachers award by the district education board, on 5.9.1993, on teachers’ day.
  • The school is an ‘A’ Grade institution of the State of U.P.
  • The first batch of 158 students appeared in the U.P. Board Intermediate Examination in the year 1996 and secured  6 positions in the state and brought cent percent result. Ninety Seven girls secured first division and Fifty Eight students secured second division.
  • In 1998 Mrs. Sudha Agnihotri, S.P. Kapoor and Sushila Sood were awarded the best teacher award by the district education department on the 5th September on  Teachers’ Day.
  • The National Institute of Sports gave sports scholarships to many of our students. The Educational Department also sanctioned scholarships to the students who showed academic excellence in 1975.
  • In the year 2001, Km. Anjali Sachan secured First Rank in the Intermediate Examinations in U.P. The Chief Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh exhonerated her with shield and citation.
  •  In the year 2002 Km. Neha Bajpai secured the Fifth position in the State, and First in the Girl’s Merit list. The Speaker of Legislative assembly awarded Km. Deep Chandra, in 2003 for securing 18th rank in the High School Examination in the State of U.P.
  • In the Intermediate Examinations, 2005 the Top three were awarded by the Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav with a citation and a cheque of Rs. 1,500 each, a Certificate of Appreciation was given to the School.
  • Sister M. Noreen A.C. was conferred the President’s award, for the best teacher for the year 2005. She received this award on the 5th of September, 2006 in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, on Teachers’ Day.
