Carmel Junior College nestles in a residential area east of Jamshedpur in Jharkhand. The school stands as an edifice of strength with the Dalma hills in the background and the river Karkai flowing near by.
The school was established in 1997. a co-ed day school from Nursery to Std. X, affiliated to the ICSE council. The first batch of ICSE will appear for examination in 2008. will continue in std. XI and XII.
In 2007 the strength of the school is 2400.

Carmel Junior College has state of art teaching aids. All the teachers are computer literate. We have technology aided education beginning with automatic attendance recording. Every class has a computer on the teacher’s desk and a T.V. monitor above the black board. The content of every lesson comes in capsules which the teacher uses to explain the concepts.
