1. On 16th September 2007, Miss Arunima Goutam received an award from the Bharat Vikash Parisad for topping the I.C.S.E. Exam held in March 2007 Board exam in Bokaro Thermal. She got 92.7 %
2. In the quiz conducted by the D.V.C. on 23rd September 2007 our students Nishant Shukla of Class IX and Shubam of Class VII stood first.
3. The Junior Karate group won Silver and Bronze medals as well as the championship shield at the camp organized at Carmel School Hazaribag on 29th September 2007.
4, On 6th October 2007, Miss Arshi Zama received an award for having stood first in Jharkhand State I.T. Talent Search Exam.
5. On 2nd October 2007, in the Debate competition in Hindi and English conducted by the D.V.C. on “Relevance of non-violence in the modern age” Nishant Shukla and Swati Kumari of Class X stood first.
6. In the Nationwide interactive Science Olympiad 2007 tests were conducted in January 2007 by the Eduhel New Delhi. Sidhartha Maitra of Class III A and Ananya Banerjee of Class V won the school and State Rank Topper. Besides Arbab Munsi of class IVB Beena Kumari of class VI B Soyoni Chakraborty of Class VIII Gunjan Biswas of Class VIII Suruchi Kumari of Class IX and Rahul Kumar of Class VIII won the School Topper rank.
7. On 3rd November 2007, in the quiz “Bharat ko Jano” conducted by the D.V.C. at Carmel School premises our students both Junior and Senior stood second. They were selected for the Inter School competition to be held at Bokaro Steel City.
8. On the 15th November 2007 in the Inter School Quiz Competion conducted by the vigilance awareness week at the D.V.C. High School Vikash Kumar Prajapati and Pratichi Ekta of Class X won the 1st prize.
Hindi School affiliated to Jharkhand Board
1. 2006 : In the vigilance awareness week organized by D.V.C. our student Swati of Cl. VIII won the second prize in poem recitation and Manish of Cl. VIII won the first prize.
2. 2007 : In August the students participated in the Inter School Competitions held at Carmel Junior college, Sonari, Jamshedpur. They returned with the Championship shield.
